Clown in a Cornfield 2: Frendo Lives by Adam Cesare
A year after the mass slaughter, Quinn is attending college in Philadelphia and her father is mayor of Kettle Springs. As Quinn and the other survivors continue to cope with life after the horrific massacre, the small town’s notorious night has fueled rampant online conspiracy theories, some even painting Quinn, Rust, and Cole as the masterminds behind the murders. Needing a break from the gossip, rumors, and true crime fanatics, Cole and Rust visit Quinn at college. However, during their visit, someone dressed in a clown costume assaults them as Quinn’s father is simultaneously attacked in Missouri. This begins a chain of events leading to killer clowns again ram paging through the streets of Kettle Springs, but this time, with teens scarred and calloused from their shared trauma. Like its predecessor, Cesare compresses the action into a few days, heightening the intensity as he recreates the gory thrills of the first novel without retreading too much familiar territory, resulting in another heart-pounding slasher bloodbath.
